TRUCK TOWN THUNDER COMES OUT ON TOP AT THE 2012 KETTERING KICKOFF

Ortonville, Michigan, September 25, 2012 – Truck Town Thunder Robotics, FIRST Team 68, competed in the Kettering Kickoff Competition this weekend at the Kettering University Recreation Center in Flint, MI. Together with FIRST Team 2337, The Enginerds from Grand Blanc High School, and FIRST Team 910, The Foley Freeze from Madison Heights, Truck Town Thunder brought home the Top Dog Award for being crowned the 2012 Kettering Kickoff Champions. There were 42 teams in attendance from all of over the state of Michigan.

New students from Truck Town Thunder were invited to come and watch the team compete. The Truck Town Thunder Robotics team has grown to 31 members and the Kettering Kickoff Competition is a great way to show new students a competitive robotics competition.
