Ortonville, Michigan, February 1, 2012 — The Truck Town Thunder Robotics, FIRST Team 68, is selling Survival Bracelets to raise money for Desert Angels. The Desert Angels collect, pack, and mail needed items to our troops overseas. Packages always include words of encouragement and hope, adding extra items to pass out the native people of the countries that our Troops are stationed in. In other words we show our Troops they are not forgotten in deeds, not just words. Changing our world, one box at a time, Making a difference! Louise Carol Ann Downs, Desert Angel, has been organizing this effort since 2010. The Truck Town Thunder Robotics team would like to help Louise with this effort by not only volunteering to help pack boxes on the 11th of every month at the Meijer in Oxford, they would like to help her mission by raising monies for organizational and shipping costs. The team will be selling survival bracelets for $5 in a variety of colors. Feel free to visit the Desert Angels website for more information about the packing parties. “Changing Our world one box at a time”.
